The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has officially launched a digital platform designed to help motorists view and manage traffic violations issued under the No Contact Apprehension Program (NCAP).
The newly activated NCAP Online Portal aims to streamline the process for traffic violators, offering a user-friendly website where individuals can:
- Check if they’ve been flagged for a violation 📋
- View photo and video evidence of the incident 🎥
- Settle fines via online payment gateways 💳
- File disputes directly through the system 📝
According to MMDA Acting Chairman Atty. Don Artes, the initiative is part of the agency’s broader digitalisation efforts. “This portal reduces human contact, eliminates bribery, and simplifies enforcement. It’s a step forward in smart traffic management,” Artes said.
The portal covers violations caught by surveillance cameras along major Metro Manila roads and intersections. Motorists only need to enter their vehicle plate number to access their records.
Critics of NCAP had previously pointed out the lack of accessible communication channels for violators. With this launch, MMDA hopes to address transparency and improve the public’s trust in automated traffic enforcement.
The agency reminds all drivers to stay informed and practice responsible road behaviour, especially with smart monitoring systems now in full effect.
